I am gonna go lift things and put them back down
And then go pretend-run in one place
So a few things relating to the gym today.
1. One day I am going to be wearing full Aperture Science gear to the gym. Why? Because science. While working out today I saw my white hoodie and wanted it to have a huge Aperture Science logo on the front with “Test Subject #(random number here)” on the back. With that, the shorts i have now, but white and black instead of red and black, and then a baseball cap with the Portal logo on it.
2. Started a new schedule for the week on what workouts on what day that was inspired by TheHodgeTwins/Twinmuscleworkout. Feels good so far, hopefully it continues to be as pleasant.
I totally forgot to post yesterday
But as of 2 weeks ago, I have a goal for the summer.
In town, we have this yearly race called “The KK-Run”. KK is the abreviation of the local newspaper (Katrineholms Kuriren), and it’s a half-marathon.
My goal is to finish that race no later than 10-15 minutes behind my friend who runs it every year. So I have been in really hard training, upping my cardio from 15 minutes in the gym and 30 minutes outside of the gym (walking to and from the gym) to 60 minutes in the gym, and 30 outside of the gym.
It’s been 2 weeks and I have already started noticing a difference, so I am really hopeful that this is a goal I can really go through with, and actually maintain once it’s done.
I am sorry for ever doubting running, Rho. I have found my way of making it fun.
